The 19th arrondissement, in the northern part of the capital, is one of the largest Parisian arrondissements, and has the distinction of being traversed by the Ourcq canal, providing a unique landscape for its residents. With the two largest parks in the city, the 19th is the perfect place for walks and picnics, a moment of relaxation and calm that will be much appreciated during your stay in Paris !

Nestled between Châtelet and Bastille, two popular places in Paris, is the 4th arrondissement, one of the liveliest neighborhoods of Paris. It is the most visited part of the city because it’s home to the Marais and the Jewish Quarter, with its monuments, nightlife, and shops.

The 10th arrondissement is lucky to have such a strategic location in Paris: between the Grands Boulevards and Place de la République, not far from the Bastille and Belleville districts. This rather central arrondissement provides convenient access to many of the major places in the capital in just a short metro ride.  

What to do in the 10th arrondissement ?

There are not a lot of monuments to visit in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. It is rather a place where people like go out, take walks, etc. However, you will notice two small triumphal arches, which are the remains of the former gates of Paris: Porte Saint-Denis and Porte Saint-Martin (near the 3rd arrondissement).
If you are lucky enough to have nice weather, a cruise along Saint Martin Canal is a must! It’s always great to find and take a breath of fresh air in the city. At night, groups of friends meet here for a “potluck” aperitif between rounds of pétanque. You will especially enjoy the beautiful view of sunset from the Quai de Valmy or Quai de Jemmapes.

Located in a dynamic neighborhood, Bercy Village and its many patios, boutiques and exhibitions, welcomes no less than 12 million visitors each year. It is a place where greedy pleasures and cultures coexist in joy and good humor.

We have already shared several Parisian neighborhoods with you, like the 16th or the 1st Arrondissement. It is now time to tell you a bit about the neighborhood where Paris Attitude is located, the 2nd Arrondissement of Paris. Central and historic you will quickly understand why we chose to set up shop here.

Where can you do a bit of shopping?

To find all the major stores go to the Forum des Halles. It is a semi-underground shopping mall built on the former site of the Halles de Paris the big wholesale food markets currently under renovation. Here there is little chance you won’t find what you’re looking for. The many boutiques surrounding the Forum will add to your shopping session. If you are looking more for the big names in fashion: Dior, Chanel, Gucci, or Boss you can visit the Place Vendôme one of the most famous squares in Paris and one of the most luxurious in the world.
